I woke up this morning to a phone call. Once I was told to sit down, I knew it was bad news, a close family friend Sharon Argwings Khodek had passed over this morning, in Nairobi.Sharon was a kind,compassionate, strong, and independent young woman.She is daughter of Joanne, and sister to Gem, Caesar and Eugene.Sharon also has a son. My thoughts and prayers of healing, go out to you all. I wish I could be there with you to mourn, my mother will represent me.
May you rest in peace Sharon,and go into the light with your father,who was waiting for you. Thank you for being who you were, and the love and support you have always given to my family.You have been a dear friend. Bless you.
For those of you who know the family, please keep them in your prayers.
Update-Sharon's service will be on Thursday 16th May at 11.00am at St Austin's church. Sharon will be laid to rest in Gem on Saturday 18th May.
